Abu Ali Sina Transplantation Hospital is an educational, research and therapeutic and specialized organ transplant hospital located in Shiraz, Fars province. This hospital is affiliated to Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and was established in 2016 with a capacity of 197 active beds and 600 approved beds. More than ten thousand organ transplants including liver, pancreas, intestine, kidney and heart have been performed in this hospital.
This hospital is located in the new city of Sadra, 15 kilometers northwest of Shiraz, on a land of 100 hectares. The main building of the hospital consists of 4 blocks with 4 to 10 floors and a height of about 45 meters. The medical and scientific-research coverage of the Middle East region is the target of this center. This hospital is the oldest and largest organ transplant center in Iran and the largest transplant center in the world in terms of the number of transplants per year and scientific ability.
